Introduction

Gucci Gucci or House is a brand of origin Italian , founded by Guccio Gucci ( in 1881 - one thousand nine hundred fifty-three ) in Florence in 1921 . The majority shareholder of the Italian company is the holding French PPR . Like other big brands, Gucci House began with the parts manufacturing leather made ??by artisan family . Nearly bankrupt, the artistic director of the Italian brand and the entire group Yves Saint Laurent was delivered to Tom Ford , who assigned it a new look, young and chic, popularizing the brand worldwide. Probably due to internal conflicts, Tom Ford withdrew from Gucci in 2005 and assumed a brand itself. Gucci generated $ 7.7 billion in revenue worldwide in 2007 according to BusinessWeek magazine and recofirmed-46th position last year in the magazine's annual "Top 100 Brands" chart. For this reason Gucci is the second biggest selling fashion brand after Louis Vuitton . The most important is that Gucci is world record sales in Italy. Gucci operates about 425 stores worldwide and also sells its products through franchisees and upscale shops. In today's market, the information has appeared as a means of driving competition in the business world. Many enterprises are using information systems to successfully assess their business objectives and needs. The need for a strategic information network is very essential for Gucci as they have to maintain their brand image and name. This helps them keep track of various activities that are taking place in the company. They help them in managing their customer relationship, procurement processes, human resource performances and many other activities are controlled through the information system.
