Introduction

Health communication is defined as "the modification of human behavior and environmental factors related to the behavior that directly or indirectly promote health, prevent disease or protect individuals from harm," or as "a process of presenting and evaluating persuasive educational information, interesting and appealing that results in healthy individual and social behavior. " The interest in understanding what motivates people to adopt or not adopt behaviors that improve their quality of life has been a research topic for many disciplines since the seventies. Health is an emerging area within the field of communication. Health communication includes the practice and study of communication strategies to prevent diseases or illness, and to promote individual and public health or quality of life. The pace of health communication research and practice has increased and expanded dramatically over the last three decades. Healthcare communication is a major responsibility that requires maintaining relations between all the stakeholders within the healthcare ecological unit (Foner, 1994)

Nursing is a discipline and the academic profession past practice have been formed by women. Nursing has historically been viewed as an extension of the role of women in the family. Organized care has its roots in religious orders of men and women, such as the Templars, from century to the era of Florence Nightingale, considered the mother of professional care. Nurses, with a planned educational program began with the work of Nightingale, one of the two daughters of an English family wealth and influence.

The Relevancy of Effective Personal Healthcare Communication with Other Healthcare Professionals, Clients, Patients

Health care units are view as a few, most efficient and effective pre-emptive groups in the social order. Thus, community projects in healthcare institutions are a common setting. For example, groups that focus on the family violence, reproductive health, abusive substances and reproductive health are commonly taking care off in the healthcare units. In addition, the groups of healthcare are utilize as the centers for providing treatment to people suffering from lethal diseases e.g. patients suffering from cancer. To magnify the outputs of these parties, it is obligatory to promote communicating of thoughts by communicating effectively. This helps the healthcare units to move a long way in order to enhance the usefulness of the precautionary programs, treatment programs and support group programs on a whole (Diamond, 1995)

Therefore, effective ways of communication are required in order to realize and assert the outputs of the personal groups. For instance, healthcare communication considered to be in the center as it is necessary to provide support. Therefore, in different situations, it might be more efficient to use challenging means. Therefore, it proposes that on a single scenario only a few forms of personal communication can applied. Accordingly, in personal groups, efficient communication is the key that helps achieving efficient outputs.
