The organization that has been selected for the information system assessments tasks is Community Services Australia Ltd. The community service organization has been providing business problem solution to small and medium size nonprofit organizations in Australia. The Executive Management Team at the organization provides consultation services to client organization. In the given coordination of assessments tasks, information is being collected for a case conference for Australian Community Support Organization.

Plan for gathering information

The purpose of gathering information is to help the client organization Australian Community Support Organization in improving the services they are providing to the disadvantaged members of the society through justice, specialist, disability and employment programs and services. The information is being collected on women who are a victim of abuse. The sources of information in this case would be community services organization, both private and public, working wholly or in part for the women suffering from any form of domestic abuse. The time line for this information gathering is three months as the information would be collected not only for a specific region in Australia but for women across Australia.

As Community Services Australia Ltd is a registered organization and has close ties with other organizations working in the community services, the information would be collected from them. Other sources of information would be national statistics published on the selected group of women and other research available for perusal. Both qualitative and quantitative methods will be used for data collection as the purpose is not only to come up with appropriate statistics, but also to understand what goes around in the minds of these battered women to make services more effective.
