Introduction

Edison is well known for his recipe for innovation: “Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.”

Edison was the one of the most Innovative and prolific scientist in the history of United States. He was the first ever inventor to see innovation as much more easy than just merely representing any idea in a real functional piece. He has a record of 1093 copyrights covering most important innovations and less addition in the extended range in the departments of electronics, power systems, picture motions, recording of sounds, construction material technology and even in mining as well.

His vision of creativity included what the people of now days call as invention, innovation, commercialization and research. His role as a developer and innovator does not bound him only to his highlighted creations but about more than 300 famous companies worldwide produce and supplies his inventions ,many of them conceded the Edison's name on them ,it also includes those 200 companies as well that are illuminating Edison's companies.

In the procedure of making innovation far easier than ever before Edison put his hand forward to create new institutions for the purpose of sound inventions. In the year 1876, he opened one laboratory in New Jersey. In the period of next five years he created telegraphy systems, transmitter for telephone, electric pen which helps out in making of template of the documents. Moreover, he invented the first ever system of luminous electric power and system. He mostly used his laboratory to work on the lighting technologies. In the year 1887, he introduced his new and bigger Laboratory in West Organe, New Jersey.
