Roles of each position in HRIS Project Team

HRIS Project Manager

HRIS Project Manager provides a full guidance for all the analysis of human resource management systems, service delivery model, web portal, and operational support. He provides a clear direction to all the HR consultants by translating business requirements. He reviews all numerical analysis and all the data prepared by Human Resource consultants for accuracy and then saving them in company's databases (Huselid et al., 1997). Not only this, but he also condenses the materials of human resource consultants to analyze and then to in cooperate into the business cases internally.

Information Manager

An information manager performs the role of managing information throughout the organization. He does this activity by databases or by several information systems. He develops, manage, save, and then use that information whenever there is a need to use such information.

Project Leaders

Leader determines the path to go through the whole project. He chooses goals which are clear understood and attainable to everyone. He believes in himself and on his teams and he always consider his team as the main asset of the organization. A leader motivates and encourages his team by ensuring them that they can achieve the goals of company as well as of themselves.

Project Analyst

The HRIS Project Analyst provides the technical know-how and expertise for developing, implementing, and then maintaining HR information systems. Moreover, they are responsible for participating in the implementation of HRIS projects as they make sure about the quality of system by executing the test plans properly, meeting with project key milestones, and delivering the intended and agreed upon usage and scope. They have excellent knowledge and skills to process HRIS and its terminologies to use conveniently. They are also responsible for the development of team members and assisting them in using those information systems.

Project Supporter

Project Supporters are the supporters to carry out HRIS effectively in any organization. They plan, identify, and implement the changes of Human Resource Information System and then update those systems so that they could meet the strategic needs of human resources division. They are involve in overall production support activities like technical analysis of data, upgrading and testing, and the documentation of the processes of HRIS. Project supporters ensure an accurate and timely manner delivery of all interfaces that are required for reporting and managing information. By implementing projects through information systems, they provide a sense of time consuming in the entire administrative task, business transactions, and departmental work flows efficiently and effectively.

Project Evaluator

A project evaluator tests the information system after its implementation to see if it is having some problem to carry out the organisational activities. He sees any problem if it exists and fix those problems. He suggests ways to maintain the HRIS for future regular maintenance and then evaluation.
