It is very essential that every leader should identify their leadership skill so that they can lead a team in to the right direction, which will eventually give tangible results Leadership styles differ from person to the person, which is why it is necessary, for managers look for, a style, which suits them.

This paper will discuss my growth as a leader; the paper will also discuss my strengths and weakness. I spent two years in the Government as a Contracting Officer (Northouse, 2010). There is no way any work can be done successfully without standard rules and regulations, even in life, there are always rules and regulations that have to be followed, so in my case I never ask them to adhere to the set rules and regulations because they should know that that is what expected of them.Discussion and Analysis

In the work environment, the relationship between me and the subordinates should be of mutual respect and not necessarily friendly, there are times that I do little things to make it pleasant to be a member of the group, but it is seldom since work is not a place where you go to have your needs met. I however, never say things to hurt the feelings of these subordinates. There are times when I consider the moral and ethical consequences of decisions that I make. In terms of self-awareness, I know my strengths and weaknesses although I cannot certainly pinpoint the crucial ones, however, my actions reflect my core values and respect for my own opinions. I have an open mind, but I always guided by moral values, and that is why other people know where I stand on controversial ...
