Synopsis

This investigation purpose chief purpose is to critically analyze the organizational change. I have discussed the concept of organization change in the introductory lines. The new process (organizational change) which is going to be launched in organization (bank) is Enterprise resource planning. The effectiveness of ERP system has been discussed in detail, under the heading of discussion. ERP is a system which facilitates an organization to integrate all the business units of the organization. The direct impacts of ERP system on major shareholders are discussed in detail. In the end, I have given few recommendations which are entirely based on effective communication of management, in order to achieve the productivity of the organization at its optimal level.

Introduction

The term organization change is an approach of shifting the teams, individual and communities from current state to future desired state. It is regarded as an organization process, which is aimed at helping the stakeholders of the company to embrace and accept changes, which take place in business organization (Kotter, 2011). The change in organization takes place for the best interest of the organization. I am currently working in banking industry, where the organization main focus is on paper work. Now the company has realized, that the coordination among the departments of the bank has become highly difficult, and there is a need of automated system. The management has come up with enterprise resource planning system (ERP), to collaborate the information of all the departments on one screen. “ERP system is strongly associated with overall performance of the organization”.

In this investigation, I will critically analyze all the aspects of ERP in detail, to know its effectiveness. The ERP system, which is going to be launched, will escalate the productivity of the organization at its optimal level. The impact of this new impact on shareholders' will be discussed in detail. The new process and structures of organization are strongly associated with stakeholders, because they are concerned with organization productivity & profit. The emergent of new software in organization will increase the productivity of the organization, on the same time it will impose some adverse effect on the workforce.

Discussion

Enterprise resource planning (ERP)

This is a highly productive system, which integrates the internal and external information across all the organization. All the departments are integrated, means that the effect and dependence of one business department get connected with other department (Heidi, 2008, pp 47, 76). The organization where I am working is not fully integrated, and the information management of customer account is not up to the global standards.

SAP, ERP system is going to be launched at the organization. All the departments marketing, payroll, human resource, supply chain, customer relationship management and finance are integrated with each other (www.sap.com/cis). The payment & deposits have been centralized with this software; it will make the life of cashier very easy. When a customer will deposit cash in the bank, it will be saved in the data server.
