Introduction

Organizational Behavior Trends

As McShane and Von Glinow (2005) point out in their text, one major component involving “an organization's moral obligation” (p. 17) is its corporate social responsibility (CSR). This refers to a company's policies towards its stakeholders. Being a public company, St Andrew's Health Care must maintain ethical practices and avoid as much public scrutiny as possible in order to remain in good graces with its shareholders, customers, and government oversight committees. With these considerations in place, St Andrew's Health Care has stringent internal audits done on a regular basis in order to ensure that corporate guidelines are being followed on a consistent and uniform basis from building to building.

However, these inspections are only beneficial in a very limited sense because they are obviously performed on an infrequent basis. Therefore, it remains the responsibility of the management team to ensure ethically sound practices are being followed on a regular basis. This leads us to some of the more dynamic aspects of the company's work environment (Knoster, 2010, 45).

Organizational Behavior (OB) is the study and submission of information about how persons, persons, and assemblies proceed in organizations. It does this by taking a scheme approach. That is, it understands people-organization connections in periods of the entire individual, entire assembly, entire association, and entire communal system. Its reason is to construct better connections by accomplishing human objectives, organizational objectives, and communal objectives.
