Introduction

The project management is an important discipline that takes into account different steps taken by the mangers in completing their everyday projects. The project management explains different perspectives of the management that enhance the efficiency of the managers and makes them more effective at their work. The paper is focused on the book titled “Assessment of the Project Management in a week” by the author Mark Brown. The author has defined different concepts of the project management and has taken into account various perspective that help the readers in understand the critical areas of the management. The topics that have been covered within the book are the nature of the projects on the various projects.

Project management is the area of management, which every year more and more companies are paying close attention to implementing the principles of project management to work as individual units, and the organization as a whole. It is effective project management enables the company to properly plan and successfully implements projects, optimizing the costs of time, money and human resources, but without deviating from the planned final product quality of the project (Senge, 2006, p. 111). Using the principles and techniques of project management enables an organization to achieve in the business of new competitive advantages and improve their performance.

Project Planning

Project planning is initiated at the beginning of a project and updated throughout its life of life. The same project may be several schedules. The planning is done to manage the main tasks and project milestones. A project always has a number of tasks more or less to achieve in a timely manner and in a definite arrangement. Planning means thinking before you do the trip in an effort to move away from potential problems (Eden, 2007, p. 306). Planning is a collaborative effort that unites wills toward a common goal. Different planning of the projects is an important task that must be done by project managers. A project planning requires careful observation of past events, which were treated in the projects (Moore, 2003, p. 22). In addition, projects must meet all the objectives that the organization, after obtaining the desired results of the project. The projects are mainly based on specific goals and objectives set by senior management of the organization.

Stakeholder's Analysis

The stakeholder analysis is a process that aims to collect and systematically analyze the qualitative and quantitative information, to determine what interests individuals should be considered throughout the project. Allows you to identify the interests, expectations and influence of stakeholders, and relates to the purpose of the project. It also helps to identify relationships with stakeholders that can be used to create alliances and potential to improve the chances of project success. There are three steps to analyze who are the stakeholders in the project:

Identify all potential stakeholders in the project and associate each role, department, interests, level of knowledge, expectations and power of influence.
