Abstract

Probably the most common misconception concerning the interpretation is that there is a simple literal translation between any two languages, and therefore the translation is the process easy and mechanical. The research reviews a number of literatures to have a better understanding of the topic and to be better able to understand who quality management systems can be considered as factors in assuring (English- Arabic) translation quality in translation projects. Consistency does not imply a monolithic way of understanding things. A culture can have more than a metaphor to conceptualize a particular area of experience and thought.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

According to Al-Qinai, (2000), probably the most common misconception concerning the interpretation is that there is a simple literal translation between any two languages, and therefore the translation is the process easy and mechanical. On the contrary, the translation is always full of both uncertainty and the inadvertent mixing of idioms and ways to use both languages. Hewings, (2001), states that as a result produced hybrid language, such as a mixture of English-French, English, Spanish or English-Polish, often referred to as the “third language ". Eckersley, (2002), states that many novice translators mistakenly believe that their job is one of science and wrongly assume that there is strict correlation between the words and phrases in different languages, and thus that there are certain immutable forms of interpretation suitable for reproduction as in cryptography. They assume that the only thing to do to translate the text to encode and decode between two languages ??using the dictionary as a guide.
