Employees working in the customer service call centre act as the voice of the whole business company or organization. They are involved in a very important dealing and that is to take care of the customers' needs and wants along with satisfying them. They way they handle these customers and interact with them leave a lasting impression, and play the most critical role in determining the relationship of the organization with their customers.

The role surrounding entry level job in a customer service call center is very demanding and energetic. It imposes requirements on the employee to remain vigilant in his or her dealings. The general purpose of the job is to take incoming calls and orders from the customers. It is also to answer their inquiries, questions, complaints and furnish the customer with the information being asked. It imposes a responsibility on the employee to answer calls in a professional way. This job requires a lot of research that needs to be conducted on the required information using different sources. Only if the research has been well conducted can the customer complaints be handled and resolved. Research is also necessary to provide the customer with the information about product and services. Some other tasks include processing orders, applications and forms. There is also a strong need to identify the priority issues and address them on time. The customer needs to be followed up at times.
