Actually, the 10 Plagues affiliated with Moses were not conceived by Moses, but by his God. Plague #1: Nile Turned to Blood

Moses and Aaron, Moses' representative, contacted the Pharaoh on the seashore of the Nile River Moses notified Pharaoh that he would display him God's power. (Trevisanato 2005)
