Tourism is the practice and action taken for traveling and visiting places for the purpose of entertainment, knowledge and education (Chang 2007, 45).

According to the definition of 'World Tourism Organization (World Tourism Organization, a department of the United Nations), a tourist is anyone who travels to countries other than the one in which he has his habitual residence, outside of their everyday environment for a period at least one night but not exceeding one year and whose purpose is different from the usual of any remunerated activity in the country visited. This term includes those who travel to relax, rest and vacation, visiting friends and relatives, for business reasons and professional, for health reasons, religious pilgrimage, and more.

Types of tourism products

Mass tourism

It is a kind of tourism that is done by all people, regardless of their economic status so that it is a unique type of tourism. It is most conventional, passive and seasonal. It is usually less demanding and specialized.

Individual Tourism

It is one where the program of activities and itinerary are decided by travelers without the involvement of tour operators.

Cultural Tourism

It is kind of tourism product where the people intend to visit cultural places and heritages. It is more demanding and less seasonal (Dickinson & Lumsdon 2010, 75).

Urban: cities developed primarily in those who are a World Heritage Site. Cultural level clients with high purchasing power.

Monumental: tied exclusively to historical and artistic monuments that may be far from major population centers.

Archaeological: linked to sites and archaeological sites that may be remote from major population centers.

Funeral: connected cemeteries where graves are either made ??by famous architects or celebrities are buried there.
