Introduction

Within religious text, there exist two different agreement or covenant types. Which are known as covenants of promise and suzerainty treaties. Suzerainty treaties are referred to suzerain or great king and vassal state. Both these agreements are different in their properties. The prominent example of suzerainty treaties are Mosaic or Sinaitic covenant in Bible. It is notable that all the obligations in those types of treaty are owned with the vassal rather than the great king. In Sinai covenant, the Israelis agreed to take the law of God or to suffer from the results. It is to mention here that such treaty was common and popular in the near eastern politics in ancient times, and this treaty in the mind, it was not astonishing that the children of Israel were related in a manner by God that these children are aware of the political situation of the day.

However, there is lot more that could be defined on the characteristics of suzerainty treaties within the holy writing; the aim of the research is not regarding explaining this type of information. The focus of research will be associated with the agreement of promise. In later part of this research issues that are related to the Abrahamic Covenant to the New Covenant. It will also be proved that irrespective of the resolution of various modern dispensational theologians, the Abrahamic Covenant is not be fulfilled in future, factual 1000 years of Christ reign on the earth over the physical descendants of Abraham and some gentiles which are converted in the suffering, but it is to mention here that Abrahamic Covenant is satisfied in the church, which is very bride of the Christ.

Discussion

As there will be interaction and discussion with the dispensational theology, the intention of this paper is not to mention the inconsistencies that are present in that system. In addition to this, there will be highlights on the points that are different in the dispensational teaching and reformed covenantal system and these points will be discussed. However, in relation with the discussion the position of dispensational will be mentioned as to be an error. Having this in mind, the objective of this research will not be proving the dispensationalism as incorrect or wrong, but it will used to prove that the religious writings in the view of New Covenant are true or correct. It was observed that in Abrahamic covenant two particular promises and these will be researched, most especially the promises of people and a land. In addition to the research of these two promises, these promises will be evaluated on the basis of grammatical historical hermeneutic employed by the reformers of protestant, and it is always used by them who stands in the tradition of reformation. However, these promises are basically interrelated with each other. At first, the land promise will be examined and these two promises will also be examined in the view of new and old covenant.
