Introduction

Aircraft maintenance is checks on all aircraft done on a periodic basis. Aircraft maintenance of agricultural aircraft (crop pollinators) may lead to a reduction of pesticide and one or, more likely, a mixture of aviation materials, infecting one or more aircraft. Spoiled pesticide materials may be more, dangerous than the material itself. Traces of skin lesions can be substantial and may increase from sweating. Agricultural aviation aircraft, both external and internal parts, should be thoroughly cleaned before repair. The aircraft and operators go through inspection approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The inspections, called as checks, named as A check, B check, C check, and D check (Brimm, 2001).

Aircraft Maintenance

A check- This check is conducted after every 500-800 flight hours. The check verifies the aircraft type, cycle count, and the number of hours flown (Brimm, 2001).

B check- This check is conducted every three to six months. It is done in an airport hangar in one to three days.

C Check-This check takes fifteen to twenty-one months. Whole aircraft is inspected. This check is extensive than the previous one. This check makes the aircraft out of service. An aircraft cannot leave the maintenance site unless it is fully inspected. The check needs one or two weeks to be completed.

D Check- This is the most complex and demanding check for the aircraft. It is also called as Heavy Maintenance Visit (HMV). This check is conducted every five to six years. This check usually takes two to three months. The check duration depends on aircraft and number of technicians involved. This requires most of the space of all checks involved.

Techniques of aircraft maintenance include the following functions, which are, making effective employee in the exercise of various professions that include allowing an employee upon entering the labor market; and playing roles to perform the duties; and tasks and activities associated with occupation. Enabling the employee's progress satisfactorily in the workplace (which implies knowledge and technical skills and technology in communication, problem solving, decision making, ethics, health and safety, etc) is another technique to be used.
