Introduction

Arab Israel conflict refers to the political tension between the Arab world and Israel that is still unresolved after a number of efforts. The tensions include many religious, civil and national aspects which make the situation worsen despite the efforts of external parties. The purpose of this research paper is to shed light on the key issues that are the major reason of conflicts between Arab world and Israel. This paper contributes ideas in resolving one of the longest conflicts in the history. The researcher interest in this topic is because of various interventions and peace agreements that have been implemented in past and the future implications that can help in resolving the issue. The aim of this paper is to discuss the reasons that are the causes of existing conflicts between Arab world and Israel. The researcher feels that peace efforts have not achieved the desired results and thus more work has to be done to resolve the issue. Discussion

The Arab Israel conflict can be seen in the light of many common factors among the both parties that cause failure in resolution of the underlying issues. These factors aggravate the delay of formation of peaceful relationships between the two parties. Researchers believe that the normalization of relations between Arab world and Israel is delaying due to many cultural, ideological and psychological factors. Among all these factors, the major barrier is the psychological one. It is also known without any doubt that the crux of entire conflict is issue of Palestine between Israel and Arab world.

The major concern of the Arab world towards Israel is the Palestine territory. The Palestinian city of Gaza, Golan Heights, Sinai Peninsula and West Bank were taken over by Israel in 1967 in a six day war. It demanded that it would return the land if Israel is recognized as an independent state. The lands captured by Israel provided the better sites at which the detection and response to incoming air attacks is possible. Also the borders of invaded land allow Israel to defend itself in case of any attack. The claim made by Israel on capturing the lands in 1967 was that it is in continuous target by external forces for attacking Israel land.
