Introduction

In the current times, the high increment in ethnic, racial and cultural diversity in the schools of America have seen in the classrooms of early childhood. These classrooms are seemed to increasing high ratio of children with developmental delays and disabilities (www.ncrel.org). In early childhood classrooms, the diversity composition brings huge challenges and also other opportunities to teachers. By the help of effective practices and administrator, family and colleagues support; teachers can build a classroom with confined diverse needs of every child. This paper intends to talk about the diverse education and what significance it holds in public schools and also in student's mind. I will also demonstrate my position and the case that I believe should be considered as a somber matter in education system.

Discussion Analysis

Diversity intends to respect, understand and value the differences of people for contributing and realizing their complete potential by encouraging an inclusive culture for all students and staff (www.ed.ac.uk). I hold a position of an ethnic student and I believe that diversity education is extremely necessary as per the current needs. Parents should look on the schools for evaluating their approaches to consider diversity. For creating a positive environment, where teachers and students can get respect of holding different backgrounds; the schools have to be proactive. Moreover, I believe that the activities in structured classroom can also highlight diversity education. It may suggest that teachers align their teachings for acknowledging various perspectives. For instance, if the teacher picks the history lesson regarding the Vietnam War, so he or she draws attention towards the views of North and also the South Vietnamese citizens. The diverse view of a single topic is very important because it can create biasness in student's mind (Banks, 2004). The teacher should give the diverse learning topics so that every student can contribute to this group. In this way, students can easily learn each view and also has something valuable to speak about.

Research suggests that majority of the cultural awareness can be learned by the students who holds such capacity to introduce in their system. Another important aspect is the teacher's training and self understanding regarding the diverse education. The teachers should be aware of the modern instructional activities that can help the students to enhance their knowledge of diversity during the course of instruction.
