Newton's Laws in the Graphic Designing Field and Object Animation

Introduction

Physics based animation concept is emerging extensively. Many production houses are developing action and animated films based on physics based graphics animation. This defines the multitude of simulation appropriate to use that gives realistic appeal to the characters through animation. Core of physics-based animation is defined on the equation modeling classical mechanics theories. Simulating graphical characters requiring following the physics principle related to addressing the character designing, movement, and object detail elements.

Graphical characters designing base on the simulation of physical system that portrays the relevancy in actual and computer-designed appearance of character (Atkinson & Lin, 2011). In graphics design and character animation, it is necessary to undertake how physics rules and laws are followed. Relevancy in subject modeling and designing add reality component to the characters (Schutte et al., 2010). This paper aims at assessing the impact of Newton's Laws in the graphics designing field. The main goal in of this paper is to explore how Newton laws affect the procedure of character animation by graphics designing specialist.

Character Animation

Character simulation and animation through physical systems is a demanding work in graphics designing. In order to properly design and add level of detail to the object, it is necessary to adopt physics principle based techniques for solving the dynamic equations of a physical model of subject element (Schutte et al., 2010). Invention of efficient and power computer system and graphical modeling tools, especially designed for graphics work, has improve the accuracy of system to properly design the graphically design character. Creation of simulation programs follow algorithm, and application of different physics laws related to defining the characteristics, movement/animation, and simulation details (Udwadia & Kalaba, 2001). This following part of the paper discusses the 'collocating animated and physical behavior' consideration when designing objects and adding animation characteristic.

There are numerous ways to add humanoid animation to an object. This includes procedural animation (through constrained force and movement principle of physics for character movement), key-frame animation (adding trajectory and interpolation of movement path through interval differences in time for defining object animation), and motion capture (that simulate object movement through capturing real object movement using motion capturing devices and turning of those movement into simulated movement for the object) (Atkinson & Lin, 2011).
