Honey Bees

Introduction

Honey bees are flying insects that use nectar of flower as their feed. Honey bees are commonly found insects across the world. There are more than 10,000 species of honey bees globally; more than 3,500 species have been founds in North America. Honey bees live in colonial hive structure having three social classes that include queen, drone, and worker honey bees. Each colony contains only one queen that is sexually fertile bee. However, worker honey bees are responsible to care for young honey bees, building the honeycomb, and collecting nectar from plants.
