Introduction

The study is related to the project management of a dairy that is to implement a £ 1 million technological investment in its production plant. In addition to this, the CEO wants the implementation of the production plant in one year. For that reason, it is essential to analyze each aspect of the project because it is essential for the success of the project. The dairy is also having problems due to limited budget; therefore, the production plant should be planned and implemented within the specified budget. For implementation of the production plant, the most important thing to consider is the human resource required for the project, moreover, their training is also important.

Discussion

To ensure success, it is important to consider the key business issues that can create a problem for the implementation of the dairy production plant. While implementing the project, company can face issue regarding the human resource, as the specialized techniques are necessary for implementation of the project. The technological investment in dairy production will increase the production of the business significantly, as the technology that will use will be modern. In contrast to operations management, project management deals with situations.

Projects are often never before attempted undertakings that have a beginning, middle, and end stages that carried out to achieve a goal. When a project defined, it is a problem scheduled for solution (David, 2002, 32-58). As a result, project managers seek to solve problems by bringing together money, manpower, and materials to do or build something. Management is the organization and direction of work. Best management practices are the search for the most ethical, efficient, and effective means for directing to productive ends. The relationship with the suppliers is important to maintain because business has limited budget and it cannot afford to have expensive cost of implementation of ...
