Principles of the Kingdom of God

Choice is given the importance in Christian life, and they can opt for good or evil. Seven principles of the Kingdom of God as told by Jesus and found in the Gospels are mentioned below.

1.You reap what you sow - This explains that no one can fool God. Therefore, it is not wise to fool ourselves because one always gets the results of his deeds, either good or bad.

2.With God, small makes big - Considering the small things such as beliefs and choices, God rewards us with bigger things. This can be explained by the concept of Heaven and Hell since those who do good deeds are rewarded and sent to Heaven after death.

3.You are not the only sower - The other people that we have around us have an impact on our lives. Similarly, the enemy of our souls also sows seeds. However, Jesus is watchful, and he knows our motives behind a deed.

4.God gives gifts; you choose to use them - Those people who ask God for wisdom is granted wisdom by Him. This can be explained by the example of Solomon who was given wisdom by God. Although he was able to say wise sayings and make rational judgments for his people, he did not behave wisely always. Therefore, it has been advised that we should use the gifts of God properly.

5.Choosing seed to sow is risky - Making a choice is important. Although we have choices from which we have to opt for and making a choice is risky, it is still important to make a choice.

6.You must endure to the harvest -The selection that we made from the choices available to us, do not provide us with results immediately. Therefore, one must wait and should remain patient. Moreover, it is also essential to remember God's commands.

7.Grace overcomes the law of sowing and reaping - This principle was explained by Jesus using the example of the women. He said that the commands of God are good, and they give us a way in which we should live. God gives forgiveness to those who seek for it. If the parents are sinful and we ask for forgiveness, He will grant forgiveness (Partridge, 2006).
