Virtual groups and Organizational communication

Virtual groups are teams based on team members who are dispersed geographically or are at distances from each other, but join together by electronic technologies via different telecommunicating means. Examples can be video/web conferences, Collaborative Software systems, web-chat rooms, electronic meeting rooms and many others. Team members are situated in different locations however feel close no matter how distant apart they are from each other. (Bargh, 1998)
