Introduction

The history about humans shows that the communication between different groups of people has always existed since the humans were sent to this earth. It is the prime need of the humans to interact with each other for many purposes. As civilizations have established and man got more awareness, the mediums of communication have invented, improved and increased. Considering the era of 21st century, there has been much advancement in the field of technology and globalization, which has given the communication a different dynamic. Thus, the following essay is evaluating the communication itself, the communication policy, the type of communication messages, how media to be used (including social media), tools and the tactics.

Broader Aspect of Communication

Communication is the process by which to transmit information from one entity to another. Communication processes are sign-mediated interactions between at least two agents that share a common repertoire of signs and rules are semiotic common. (Hickson, Greenbaum. et.al.1975)

Traditionally, communication has been defined as "the exchange of feelings, opinions, or any other information by speech, writing or other signs." All forms of communication requires a sender , a message and a receiver for, but the receiver need not be present or aware of the communicative intent by the issuer for the act of communication takes place. In the communication process, information is included by the issuer in a package and forwarded to the receiver through the medium. Once received, the receiver decodes the message and provides an answer.

Thus, likewise anything, the effective communication between the sender and the receiver needs a communication policy that can play its role to successfully implement the communication process.

Communication Policy

The communication policy is concerned with the question of how the goals of a large organization can be taught to understand and effectively informed how about its own activities and results, as the organization learns the opinions and wishes of the relevant groups, such as the processes within the organization are designed. Communication policy plans and controls the communication between organization and environment or the individual target groups, both internally and externally. It is a function of leadership, organization and marketing.

Additionally, it is related to product, pricing, and distribution policy, the fourth element of the marketing mix. In business, the communication policy is to inform consumers about the quality, price and the reference sources of information to a product and get them to buy it. (Hay.1979)

Thus, there are different types of communication. In context to corporate world, this essay will talk particularly about the communication messages related to business.
